BLACKPINK member Jisoo’s long-awaited first solo project has a confirmed release date. The group’s agency YG Entertainment announced on its official blog that the album will arrive on March 31. YG did not give provide additional information on the album, except for the release date.

YG first tweeted a mysterious “Coming Soon” teaser image featuring a bright wide red piece of cloth spread on a beautiful green field, and then later tweeted: “#JISOO FIRST SINGLE ALBUM Pre-order notice has been uploaded. ▶ https://weverse.io/blackpink/notice/12757?hl=ko

Jisoo confirmed earlier this year that she was preparing for a solo debut album; making her the fourth, and final, member of BLACKPINK to release solo material.  The three other members of BLACKPINK previously dropped solo music — Jennie debuted ‘Solo’ in 2018, and in 2021, Rose released ‘R,’ while Lisa dropped ‘Lalisa.’

BLACKPINK is currently on the road with their Born Pink World Tour, which is about to head to Australia and Mexico, and will return to headline this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in April.
