After almost 26 years, the unsolved murder of Tupac Shakur was in the news again this week, when Las Vegas police raided a home in the area said to be linked to Keefe D.  Las Vegas police said in a statement: “LVMPD can confirm a search warrant was served in Henderson, Nevada on July 17, 2023, as part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation. We will have no further comment at this time.”

2PAC was gunned down following a boxing match on September 7, 1997 at just 25 years old. The night of his shooting, the rapper’s bodyguards were reportedly involved in a fight with a man, Orlando Anderson, around 8:30 PM; he was supposed to head to Club 662 after the fight with Mike Tyson.

Tupac was shot four times in a car in Sin City as a white Cadillac Sedan pulled up on the passenger side of his car and rapidly fired into the vehicle. He was taken hospital where he was put on life support, but died seven days later from internal bleeding. The official cause of death later recorded as respiratory failure and cardiopulmonary arrest associated with gunshot wounds.

Now authorities may be a step closer to solving the mystery identity of Tupac’s killer after raiding the property connected to Keefe D., who has previously said he was in the car with a man who shot and killed the late rapper. He has also claimed to be the uncle of the late Orlando Anderson, who has been previously suspected of the killing.
