The Miami Heat were defeated by the Cleveland Cavaliers in a 138-83 blowout loss on Monday, as the Cavs completed the first-round sweep to eliminate the Heat and advance to the second round of the NBA playoffs. Donovan Mitchell led the Cavs to victory with a team-high 22 points, with De’Andre Hunter, Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, Ty Jerome, and Javonte Green also scoring double digits. The 55-point margin of victory is the fourth-largest in playoff history and the biggest margin in an Eastern Conference postseason contest (per StatMuse).

Cleveland will face the winner of the Indiana Pacers-Milwaukee Bucks series as they advance to the second round.

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Houston Rockets 109-106 in Game 4, taking a 3-1 lead in their best-of-seven series. Jimmy Butler returned from injury and led the Warriors with 27 points, with Brandin Podziemski scoring a playoff career-high 26 points, and Stephen Curry finishing with 17.
