Alice in Chains had initially cancelled their show last Thursday, May 8 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, after Kinney fell ill, posting on X at that time: “After our soundcheck this evening at the Mohegan Sun Arena, Sean experienced a non-life-threatening medical emergency. We unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s show. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.”

The band had a handful of shows scheduled surrounding their appearances at the Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville festivals; as of press time there was no word yet on the band’s July 5th appearance at the Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s “Back to the Beginning” show in Birmingham, England.
