Netflix released a trailer for Untamed, a new series starring Eric Bana as a National Parks Service agent investigating a murder in the wilds of Yosemite National Park.

Bana portrays Kyle Turner, an agent with the NPS Investigative Services Branch, as he probes what initially appears to be the accidental death of a woman who fell from El Capitan. His investigation leads him to uncover more killings, as the dark secrets of the Yosemite National Park get slowly revealed. Turner and his new partner, Naya Vasquez (Lily Santiago), come to suspect the woman died while fleeing from a killer in the park — and the killer has struck before.

The official synopsis reads: “The series follows Kyle Turner, a special agent for the National Parks Service who works to enforce human law in nature’s vast wilderness. The investigation of a brutal death sends Turner on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.”

The series, created by Mark L. Smith and Elle Smith, also stars Sam Neill as Paul Souter, Rosemarie DeWitt as Jill Bodwin, Wilson Bethel as Shane Maguire, and William Smillie as Bruce Milch.

All episodes of Untamed will be released July 17 on Netflix; see the trailer: HERE.
