Sony Pictures has released the final trailer for the I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot, featuring returning franchise stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. as they help a new group of teens outrun a killer.

Prinze Jr., 49, and Hewitt, 46, reprise their roles from the original 1997 film as Julie and Ray, with the horror sequel picking- up after the events of 1998’s I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.  The two reunite to help five friends defeat the franchise’s terrifying and murderous fisherman; and at the end of the new trailer, Hewitt’s Julie James delivers her famous line from the original 1997 film: “What are you waiting for?”

A synopsis for the new film reads: “When five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences. A year later, their past comes back to haunt them and they’re forced to confront a horrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer … and is hell-bent on revenge. As one by one the friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.”

Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers and Sarah Pidgeon portray the young people who find themselves in danger after concealing a fatal car accident.  Billy Campbell, Gabbriette Bechtel, Austin Nichols, Lola Tung and Nicholas Alexander Chavez also star in the film, which opens in theaters July 18.
