Netflix is sharing a new trailer for Part 1 of Wednesday Season 2, which sees the titular character (Jenna Ortega) grappling with a disturbing prophecy after returning to her beloved Nevermore Academy.

An official Season 2 synopsis reads: “During one of her psychic visions, she learns that her best friend and roommate Enid Sinclair (Emma Myers) will die — and that she’s somehow responsible.”

Season 2 newcomers include Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor as series regulars. Returning cast members include Joy Sunday, Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, Moosa Mostafa, Victor Dorobantu, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, Georgie Farmer and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo.

Guest stars for the season include Lady Gaga, Jamie McShane, Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O’Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo and Joonas Suotamo.

Fred Armisen will once again cameo as Uncle Fester, and Christopher Lloyd (who played the character in 1991’s The Addams Family) will also guest star in the upcoming season.

Season 2 of the dark comedy arrives in two parts; four episodes in ‘Part 1’ premiere on Netflix on Aug. 6, with the last four episodes debuting on Sept. 3.
