Shinedown will make their Grand Ole Opry debut on October 10th, to mark their foray into the country music.

The band posted on X: “The four of us are beyond excited to step onto one of the most iconic stages in the world, for the first time. Even dreaming of standing on that stage felt out of reach when we were younger and would watch performances at the Opry. And now… here we are. Being part of their 100th year celebration is surreal and we could not be more grateful!!! We’ll see you on October 10th in Nashville, TN at the @opry 🙏 “

The band’s appearance is part of the Opry’s 100th anniversary celebration, which is taking place throughout October. Shinedown guitarist Zach Myers said in a statement: “We’re beyond excited to make our Opry debut. Being a kid from Tennessee, most of my early memories were watching the Opry show every weekend with my grandmother and never considering standing on that legendary stage to even be an option. Now that it is, we couldn’t be happier to be a part of such a historical year of Opry history.”

Shinedown recently hit #1 on the rock chart with their latest single, “Killing Fields,” which follows their previous #1 hit sons “Three, Six, Five” and “Dance, Kid, Dance.”
