The Who announce final concert on North American Farewell tour

The Who have announced that the last date on their ‘The Song Is Over North American Farewell Tour’ will take place on Oct. 1 at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, California.

In a post on Instagram the band said: “We are pleased to announce that The Who are coming to Acrisure Arena, Greater Palm Springs, CA on October 1st for the last time on The Song is Over – The Final Public Show on the North American Farewell Tour!”

The band’s farewell trek was supposed to end on September 28th at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas; however, the newly-announced Palm Springs show will now serve as The Who’s final concert in the States. For ticket info, head to Ticketmaster.

The Who also just announced that The Offspring will be their opening act for their Sept. 19 show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

The Song Is Over North American Farewell Tour kicked off Aug. 16 in Sunrise, Florida; a complete list of the remaining dates on the tour can be found at TheWho.com.
