The Grand Ole Opry will celebrate its 100th anniversary with two special all-star shows on November 28, 2025, marking exactly 100 years since its first broadcast. The Opry has been marking its 100th year throughout 2025 with special shows and more than 60 Opry debuts. The celebration will continue into 2026 with “Opry 100 Honors” shows and a performance at Carnegie Hall.
On Nov. 28, 1925, the Grand Ole Opry made its inaugural broadcast with a single fiddle tune performed by Uncle Jimmy Thompson. Since then, the Opry has welcomed more than 200 members and broadcast over 15,000 shows. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of that first broadcast, two all-star Opry member shows are planned for Nov. 28, featuring over 20 Opry members, including legends and new artists from the country, bluegrass, gospel, and comedy genres.
The confirmed cast includes Trace Adkins, Bill Anderson, Mandy Barnett, Suzy Bogguss, T. Graham Brown, Steven Curtis Chapman, Henry Cho, The Gatlin Brothers, Vince Gill, The Isaacs, Kathy Mattea, Charlie McCoy, Scotty McCreery, Gary Mule Deer, Riders In The Sky, Ricky Skaggs, Don Schlitz, Connie Smith, Marty Stuart, Pam Tillis, The Whites, Mark Wills, and more to be announced soon. The shows set to take place at the Opry in Nashville at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m.
