Puscifer have shared their latest track “ImpetuoUs,” the third preview of their upcoming album, Normal Isn’t, arriving February 6th. The band previously released two other songs from the 11-track album: “Self Evident” and “Pendulum.”

The accompanying visualizer for ImpetuoUs shares the first look at the Puscifer comic book series, “Tales From The Pusciverse,” launching alongside Normal Isn’t. The debut issue spotlights the character Bellendia Black, originally introduced in the video for “Pendulum.” Additional details about the series will be announced soon.

Maynard James Keenan says: “I’m looking forward to hearing where this song takes people. As the writers, we forget that in a way, we are carpenters and that we’ve been with this song since it was a pile of lumber. Our Perspective may differ from the final occupant of this space we’ve constructed. Shelter, Bridge or Gallows, Coffin? Curious to find out.”

Mat Mitchell, who co-produced the album, shared:“From the outset, we had discussed an element of rawness and edge, which guitar brings. We got rid of the guard rails and made the music more aggressive.” Keenan added:“’Normal Isn’t’ reflects this time we are living in. As storytellers and artists, our job is to observe, interpret, and report. We take in our environment and share what we see, and what we see around us does not appear normal. Not by a long shot.”

The band will also be launching a North American tour March 20th in Las Vegas, Nevada, making stops at New York’s Terminal 5, Red Rocks Amphitheatre just outside of Denver, and more before concluding on May 14 in Los Angeles. Ticket info can be found HERE.

Also leading up to the February 6th release of ‘Normal Isn’t’ will be early screenings of the band’s new concert film, Normal Isn’t: Puscifer Live at the Pacific Stock Exchange, held at select independent record stores. Keenan shares: “Brick and mortar vinyl shops are the lifeblood of independent bands. There is a symbiotic relationship that was almost obliterated by the age of digital downloads and streaming. Thankfully, we survived by working together.” The list of participating independent retailers can be found on the Puscifer’s website; additionally, the concert film will be available for purchase on February 9th at 3 pm ET on the HERE.
