Wide receiver Zay Flowers has signed a four-year, $140 million contract extension with with the Baltimore Ravens. The deal reportedly includes $108 million in guaranteed money and keeps the two-time Pro Bowl pass catcher in Baltimore through the 2031 season. At an average annual value of $35 million, Flowers joins the league’s highest-paid wide receivers, tying Justin Jefferson for fourth in annual salary behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ja’Marr Chase and Drake London.
Flowers, 25, has quickly become the centerpiece of Baltimore’s passing attack since being selected with the 22nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Boston College. He has produced consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons and earned Pro Bowl honors in each of the past two years. His breakout 2025 campaign included 86 receptions for a franchise-record 1,211 receiving yards, further strengthening his connection with quarterback Lamar Jackson and establishing himself as one of the league’s most productive young receivers.
The extension comes after months of optimism from both sides that a long-term agreement would be reached. Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta previously said the organization wanted Flowers to remain in Baltimore, while the receiver made it clear during the offseason that he hoped to spend his entire career with the franchise. The agreement also follows the team’s decision to exercise Flowers’ fifth-year option earlier this year, giving the sides additional time to negotiate a larger extension.
The new contract also underscores Baltimore’s commitment to keeping its core offensive talent together as the NFL’s wide receiver market continues to climb. Flowers already ranks among the franchise’s career leaders in receptions and receiving yards despite entering just his fourth season, and the Ravens view him as a foundational piece alongside Jackson as they continue their pursuit of a Super Bowl championship.
