Judas Priest will replace Ozzy Osbourne at the inaugural Power Trip Festival, a three-day event set to take place October 6, 7 and 8 this fall in Indio, CA.

The news comes one day after Osbourne pulled out of the event due to ongoing health concerns. Judas Priest said in a press release: “Power Trippers, are you ready for some Judas Priest style heavy metal! We are excited and ready to raise double horns way up high together. Keeping the metal faith at this bostin one of a kind Power Trip world event!”  Ozzy and Judas Priest have toured extensively together over the years. Priest had been scheduled to support Ozzy on the European leg of his 2023 No More Tours 2 before was canceled due to Ozzy’s health.

Guns N’ Roses and Iron Maiden opening on Friday, October 6th and Metallica and Tool closing on Sunday, October 8th. Priest will perform alongside AC/DC on Saturday, October 7th.
