Ringo Starr and an array of special guests gathered at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn. over two nights on Jan. 14-15 for special fundraising concerts to benefit those affected by the wildfires that affected Southern California area in early January.

Accompanying Starr at these two shows were Sheryl Crow, Rodney Crowell, Mickey Guyton, Emmylou Harris, Sarah Jarosz, Jamey Johnson, Brenda Lee, Larkin Poe, Billy Strings, Molly Tuttle, Jack White and more.

The two-hour concert special originally aired on CBS and is currently streaming on Paramount+  — and now a digital single of the Beatles classic “With a Little Help From My Friends,” (as recorded at the Ryman as each night’s closing performance) has been made available, with all proceeds generated by streaming the song benefit the American Red Cross and Habitat For Humanity.

Ringo Starr shared: “I love LA and have lived there for many years, and while we were recording this in Nashville, many of us had family and friends who were dealing with the wildfires in Los Angeles. It was so great performing this song with these incredible artists and we all wanted to do something to help. I think the song says it all really, “With A Little Help From My Friends” and we send it to all those affected by the fires with Peace and Love.”
