To celebrate the five-year anniversary of her fan-favorite cut “party 4 u” –Charli XCX has released an official music video for the track.

Charli initially released “Party 4 U” as part of her pandemic album “How I’m Feeling Now,” which she recorded over a period of five weeks and released in May 2020.  Since then, “Party 4 U” has recently become a viral hit again on TikTok and social media.

Charli shared in an Instagram post to commemorate the anniversary of the track’s how i’m feeling now album: “how i’m feeling now turns five years old tomorrow… it honestly just feels like yesterday. So much has changed since then. Me, my life, elements of my music, and most definitely, the world. I made the album in just five weeks, from conception to release, entirely publicly in collaboration with all of you. It was so special. I felt like I rediscovered myself, my sanity and my sense of connection with the world at a time when we were all so alone. To create with all of you helped me feel okay.  It was all of us at our most raw. Our most stripped. Our most vulnerable. I will never forget it and I really can’t believe that five years later, one of the angel favorites its having its own special moment.”
