Doja Cat, Jelly Roll, Post Malone, Tate McRae, and Conan Gray have officially been added to the list of performers for the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards. The show, hosted by LL Cool J, will broadcast live from UBS Arena in New York on Sunday, September 7, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. For the first time, the VMAs will air on the CBS Television Network, while also being simulcast on MTV and available to stream on Paramount+ in the U.S.

These newly announced acts will join an already star-studded lineup featuring Sabrina Carpenter, Ricky Martin—who will be honored with the VMAs’ inaugural Latin Icon Award—Busta Rhymes, J Balvin alongside DJ Snake, Alex Warren, Sombr, and Mariah Carey – who is set to receive the 2025 Video Vanguard Award, one of the evening’s top honors.

Lady Gaga leads this year’s nominees with 12, with other top contenders include Bruno Mars with 11, Kendrick Lamar with ten, Rosé and Sabrina Carpenter with eight each, Ariana Grande and The Weeknd with seven each, Billie Eilish with six, Charli XCX with five, and Bad Bunny, Doechii, Ed Sheeran, Jelly Roll, Miley Cyrus and Tate McRae with four apiece.

Nominations for the VMAs Social Categories, Best Group and Song of the Summer are expected to be announced Friday.
