Rod Wave Performs on the Nostalgia Tour in Jacksonville Florida USA December 18^ 2023 at The Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena

Rod Wave has officially made his latest track, Feed the Streets, available on all major streaming services following the strong response to its music video, which has already surpassed 6.3 million views since debuting last month. The single follows October’s “Leavin,” which arrived alongside the announcement of his “Redemption Experience Tour.”

Released as a surprise on Christmas Day, “Feed the Streets” serves as a preview of Rod Wave’s upcoming album, Don’t Look Down. The track weaves together personal loss and cultural reflection, with Rod opening the song by touching on Key Glock’s loss of Young Dolph and the passing of his own uncle. Throughout the record, Rod Wave also references influential figures such as Tupac Shakur, Malcolm X, and Suge Knight.

While Don’t Look Down still does not have a confirmed release date, Rod recently explained the meaning behind the title in an interview, saying, “A lot of people get in this position that we [are] in, bro, and they fumble it by just thinking too hard,” adding, “I just don’t want to get caught up thinking about the next move.” He also revealed that one of the tracks on the album will be called “Redemption.”
