The War and Treaty have unveiled “If This Day” included on ‘The Gray House Original Soundtrack’ from the upcoming Amazon Prime Video series, The Gray House.

The Gray House premieres February 26 on Amazon Prime Video, with the soundtrack arriving the same day. Executive produced by Kevin Costner and Morgan Freeman alongside Lori McCreary, The Gray House tells the true story of four women who transform an Underground Railroad operation into a high-stakes espionage network. Music plays a vital role in shaping the emotional landscape of the limited series.

Penned by acclaimed songwriter Diane Warren and produced by Desmond Child, Marti Frederiksen, and Leslie Greif, If This Day reflects the series’ themes of bravery, sacrifice, and perseverance during a defining chapter in American history.

Warren explained the broader message behind the lyrics: “‘If This Day’ is not only about these brave women of ‘The Gray House’. It also applies to us all, to look at ourselves and ask ourselves did we do all we could do, did we stand up for those we needed to stand up for, did we live enough, love enough, forgive enough. Did you do the best you could do with the time you were given on this earth?”

The soundtrack’s first release, “Heart Of America” by Willie Nelson, set the tone with its meditation on endurance and freedom. Together, the two tracks anchor a lineup that also features Lainey Wilson, Yolanda Adams, Shania Twain, Killer Mike, and Adrienne Warren.

The release of “If This Day” arrives during an especially active season for The War And Treaty, who recently announced their upcoming album Plus One.
