Fresh off the success of his Hot 100-charting anthem “Don’t Kill the Party” alongside Quavo and Juicy J, Ty Dolla $ign has unveiled his latest single, “Miss U 2,” a smooth collaboration with Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Leon Thomas. The track, produced by Keyz and released through Atlantic Records, offers the first glimpse into Ty’s upcoming project, the six-track collection Girl Music Vol. 1, set to arrive on March 6 — just ahead of International Women’s Day

Ty explained the concept behind the new project:  “Girl Music started as a conversation at dinner in NYC. The DJ at the restaurant was playing all the right music and it got us thinking about the music that girls really want to hear. Everything about this project has been organic and natural. From the name of the project to the song selection and sequence to the collaborators. It all just fell into place. This project was a natural return back to my musical sound, back to performing with a live band; my real R&B vibes. This is really some of my favorite music I’ve made in a long time. And this is only volume one….”

Girl Music Vol. 1 follows Ty’s 2025 album Tycoon, which featured an all-star lineup including A$AP Rocky, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Chloe Bailey, Lil Wayne, and 2 Chainz, among others.
