After tickets for his first two Yankee Stadium concerts quickly sold-out, JAŸ-Z has added a third date to meet fan demand. The newly announced show, titled JAŸ-Z Extra Innings, is set for Sunday, July 12.

Roc Nation wrote on X: “JAŸ-Z 30 SOLD OUT JAŸ-Z 25 SOLD OUT JUST ADDED JAŸ-Z Extra Innings on Sunday, July 12th Yankee Stadium On-Sale at 1pm ET Today Tuesday, March 24th”

The Brooklyn-born artist—who is revisiting the stylized “JAŸ-Z” name as a nod to his early career—already holds the record for the most sold-out performances at Yankee Stadium and now looks to extend that streak even further. The added performance follows the previously scheduled July 10 and July 11 concerts, which will celebrate milestone anniversaries of two of his most influential albums. The opening night honors 30 years of his debut Reasonable Doubt, while the second show marks the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint. Unlike those events, the July 12 concert won’t center on a specific album but is expected to carry forward the energy of the earlier shows.

Originally released in 1996, Reasonable Doubt introduced listeners to songs like “Ain’t No N****,” “Can’t Knock the Hustle,” “Feelin’ It,” and “Dead Presidents,” helping establish Jay-Z as a major force in rap. The Blueprint, which arrived in 2001, further cemented his legacy with hits including “Izzo (H.O.V.A.),” “Jigga That N****,” and “Girls, Girls, Girls.” Both albums have earned platinum status and remain influential decades later.

Ahead of his New York homecoming, JAŸ-Z is also slated to appear alongside The Roots at the Roots Picnic festival in Philadelphia on May 30–31, marking one of his major live appearances before the summer stadium shows.

Tickets for the new date went on sale Tuesday, March 24th at 1:00 p.m. ET via Ticketmaster.
