Rising country artist Hudson Westbrook is back with fresh music, unveiling his new single “Hey Dallas.”

Co-written with Reid Haughton, Beau Bailey, and Lukas Scott—who also produced the track alongside Ryan Youmans—the song cleverly riffs on the iconic phrase “Houston, we’ve got a problem,” spinning it into a warning about a captivating but trouble-making woman returning to town. “‘Hey Dallas’ just came together really naturally and was a lot of fun to write,” Westbrook says. “I’ve been teasing it, and the reaction’s been awesome — I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

The release follows his recent EP Exclusive, which showcased a smoother, more polished country-R&B sound. In contrast, early reactions to “Hey Dallas” suggest a return to the Texas-inspired style that defined his debut album Texas Forever, blending traditional influences with his modern edge.

Westbrook has also been building momentum on country radio. His latest single “Painted You Pretty’ became the most-added track upon release on country radio, with the song quickly gaining traction with fans. Beyond his own material, Westbrook recently teamed up with Gavin Adcock for the project Country Never Dies, where he delivered a well-received take on “Slow Hand,” a classic first recorded by The Pointer Sisters and later made a country staple by Conway Twitty.

On the road, Westbrook is currently touring as direct support for Bailey Zimmerman, with additional appearances alongside George Strait and Morgan Wallen lined up.
