The Rolling Stones have officially shared that their next studio album, Foreign Tongues, will arrive July 10. The 14-track project follows the success of their Grammy-winning 2023 release, Hackney Diamonds.

Leading the rollout is the upbeat single “In the Stars,” now available digitally, alongside the opening track “Rough and Twisted.” That song had quietly surfaced earlier in April as a limited white-label vinyl under the alias ‘The Cockroaches’ before receiving a wider release.

Foreign Tongues came together quickly, recorded in under a month at London’s Metropolis Studios with producer Andrew Watt, who also collaborated with the band on Hackney Diamonds. The result is described as a “dynamic and forward-looking record that captures the band’s unmistakable sound while pushing into new sonic and lyrical territory, further cementing their unparalleled legacy.” The album also includes an impressive lineup of guest artists, including Paul McCartney, Steve Winwood, Robert Smith, and Chad Smith; and features a contribution from late drummer Charlie Watts, drawn from one of his final recording sessions before his passing in 2021.
