Eric Clapton is heading back on the road this fall with a newly announced string of U.S. performances. The six-date stretch begins September 6 at Little Caesars Arena and includes stops in cities such as Chicago and Cincinnati. Blues great Jimmie Vaughan will join as a special guest.

Clapton’s touring band will feature Doyle Bramhall II on guitar, Sonny Emory on drums, Chris Stainton on keyboards, Nathan East on bass, Tim Carmon on organ, and backing vocalists Katie Kissoon and Sharon White.

The U.S. dates follow a busy international schedule. Clapton has already lined up 11 European shows for 2026, kicking off April 24 in Amsterdam and wrapping May 17 in Munich, Germany. He’ll also perform August 23 at the Sandringham Estate in the U.K.

The tour announcement also comes on the heels of the deluxe reissue of Clapton’s 1989 album Journeyman. Released through Bushbranch/Surfdog Records, the expanded edition includes four additional tracks, highlighted by the song “Higher Power,” written by Jerry Williams and accompanied by a new music video.

Last year, Clapton dropped his recent studio album Meanwhile, which features six new songs and eight previously released singles, and includes collaborations with Jeff Beck, Van Morrison, Bradley Walker, Judith Hill, Daniel Santiago, and Simon Climie.
